About Our Therapists
All Out East therapists are licensed and certified. We are also NYS Department of Health approved to provide Early Intervention Services, Nassau and Suffolk County approved to provide Related Services, and New York City Board of Education approved for preschool and school age children. All therapist certifications require criminal background checks.
Funding for the Committee on Preschool Special Education services is appropriated through the Departments of Health in Nassau and Suffolk County and the New York State Education Department. Funding for early intervention services is through Nassau and Suffolk County and the NYS Department of Health. Special services are at no additional cost to the families of eligible children.
Depending upon your child’s IEP or IFSP, our therapists may be able to work with your child in your home or at school.
Our Therapists

Our team includes:
Occupational Therapists (OTs) – Supporting fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care abilities, and school-related tasks.
Physical Therapists (PTs) – Helping children develop strength, balance, coordination, and motor planning for mobility and everyday activities.
Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) – Enhancing communication, language development, articulation, and social skills.
Special Education Itinerant Teachers (SEITs) – Providing individualized instruction to help children succeed academically and socially.
With years of experience in schools, homes, and clinical settings, our therapists are committed to providing personalized, evidence-based interventions tailored to each child’s unique needs. We work closely with families, educators, and other professionals to create a collaborative and supportive environment for every child we serve.
